1. Material selection
Quality control before burning is especially important because burning wood can increase damage in the boards, such as broken branches, cracks, warping, and bends.
That’s why our tables are always sourced from certified suppliers and undergo pre-, mid-, and post-production quality control.
2. Burning
All 4 sides of the boards are charred on a conveyor moving at a constant speed, at a temperature of 1100 ℃.
As a result, the pores of the wood close, preserving the inner layers of the wood. The wood becomes more resistant to weather, pests and rot.
3. Brushing
The coal surface created during combustion is also brushed onto a uniform conveyor.
Brushing enhances the aesthetic appearance of the wood and highlights the unique wood patterns.
4. Oiling
After brushing, the boards are covered on all four sides with a tinted wood preservative.
This way we can give the boards additional protection against UV radiation and fungi and give the boards a shade. The choice is light gray, dark gray, black, amber, red amber, brown.
5. Quality control
A and O! After each of the aforementioned processes, each board undergoes an intermediate inspection.
